MIAMI, FL – Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) announced today that North Shore Medical Center in Miami has been named to the company’s 2010 Circle of Excellence.
The Circle of Excellence honors Tenet hospitals that have achieved the highest levels of quality, service and operational performance. Key metrics used to evaluate the hospitals were patient, physician and employee satisfaction scores, clinical quality and financial performance.
“The hard work, determination and commitment of the employees at North Shore Medical Center made 2009 a great year for the hospital,” said Stephen L. Newman, MD, Tenet’s chief operating officer. “North Shore Medical Center has added a number of new services during the past year including an advanced diabetes center and a new cardiac monitoring system in the emergency room.
