Located on the second floor of the hospital, accessible from the south lobby entrance

Established in 1995, the Wound Healing Center specializes in the care of non-healing wounds, such as arterial ulcers, venus statis ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, ischemic ulcers and pressure ulcers.  These wounds may be related to other medical conditions.

Each patient's primary care physician retains responsibility for their medical care, while the Center's specialists focus solely on treatment and prevention of non-healing wounds.  The staff works closely with the physician and coordinates care with other related entities such as home health care, physical therapy, whirlpool treatments, diabetic teaching and dressing changes.
