The merger will allow both hospitals to share and expand services at both locations and provide better, more efficient care to the communities we serve. North Shore Medical Center is highly respected for its radiation oncology, neonatology and women's services, while Florida Medical Center is known for its quality cardiac, oncology and bariatric services. The merger now provides both communities access to 816-beds (357-beds at North Shore Medical Center and 459-beds at North Shore Medical Center FMC Campus) of quality patient care and services.
