CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION CLASS
Childbirth Education classes are held in English and Spanish.  

Our free Prepared Childbirth Class series is designed for first time parents in their second trimester of pregnancy.  Topics will include anatomy and physiology of pregnancy, stages of labor, comfort techniques of labor, Caesarean birth, and breast feeding. A tour will also be included.  Parents need to bring two (2) pillows and a blanket or a mat to class. 

The Childbirth Class is held in the auditorium off the main lobby entrance.  To register for class, please call 1-800-984-3434.

Childbirth classes in English are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.   Series of four classes.

Series starts:  Wednesday, January 13 through Wednesday, February 3.

Childbirth classes in Spanish are held on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  Series of four classes.

HOSPITAL TOURS FOR NEW EXPECTING PARENTS

Hospital maternity tours are held for new expecting parents on a monthly basis.  We offer daytime and evening tours.  Daytime tours are offered from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.  Evening tours are offered from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.  The maternity tours meet in the main lobby area of the hospital.  To register for the maternity tour, please call 1-800-984-3434.  The 2010 tour schedule is as follows:

BREASTFEEDING CLASS

This breastfeeding class is designed to increase mom's knowledge of breastfeeding techniques, discussion on the benefits of breastfeeding.  Classes are offered in English and Spanish.  To learn more, call 1-800-984-3434.

The breastfeeding class is taught by a board certified lactation consultant.  Breastfeeding class will be held in Auditorium B off the main lobby unless otherwise noted.

INFANT MASSAGE CLASS

BIG BROTHER - BIG SISTER CLASS

Preparation for the new baby in the family.  Discussion of newborn appearance and behavior.  Adjusting to the changes in the family with a new baby in the house.  Classes are held on Saturday's at 10:30 a.m. and approximately 1 1/2 hour.  Recommended age for class is 3 year to 8 year old.  Please call 1-800-984-3434 for more details.
