North Shore Medical Center received the American Heart/American Stroke Association’s Heart Association Get With the Guidelines ® - Heart Failure Quality Achievement Award in 2018 and 2019 for implementing specific quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association/American College of Cardiology Foundation’s secondary prevention guidelines for patients with heart failure.
North Shore Medical Center has received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s 2019 Get with the Guidelines® Target: Stroke Honor Roll-Elite Plus Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. The award recognizes the hospital’s commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines based on the latest scientific evidence. North Shore earned the award by meeting specific quality achievement measures for the diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients.
