Insurance coverage and any resulting hospital bills can seem confusing, but you’re not alone in figuring it out. North Shore has dedicated staff to answer any questions you might have in understanding insurance coverage and any outstanding charges.

Please be sure to pay any deductibles, co-pays and other charges not covered by your insurance before you leave the hospital. Accepted forms of payment include cash, personal check, electronic fund transfer (EFT), or credit card. You can make payment with a financial counselor in the Registration Department.

Questions About Your Bill
If you have questions about your bill or insurance coverage after you leave the hospital, please call (305) 835-6128 or contact us online. We will mail you a statement for any balance due once your insurance company has processed the submitted claims. Payment is due upon receipt and may be made by cash, personal check or credit card.
